trustees with the simple aim of re-instating the missing dimension
of development, i.e. Consciousness. |
| OASIS is a highly dedicated,
socially oriented NGO, working for the cause of environmental
awareness for the future generation.
Why OASIS?
Once upon a time, Mother Nature was endowed with a soothing,
thrilling and natural environment. The celebrant winds, lush
greenery, swerving rivers in a backdrop of ecstatic life
were natural resources available in abundance.
Soon, the pursuit of materialistic pleasures, development,
technology and the fast growing population started taking a
toll on Mother Nature.
Today’s Intelligentia is worried about the price we are
having to pay in the form of tsunamis, inundations, katrinas
and more... by endangering the otherwise soothing environment
The world is now turning into a desert; losing all that is
valuable. At a time when values are disappearing and Man is
becoming barren and dehydrated, the only silver lining is found
in an OASIS, amidst the desert.

The People behind:
Dr. Puja Vijay Sukhija: With over decades of teaching, and
administrative experience, Dr Puja Vijay Sukhija is no stranger
to education. She chose to give up her conventional teaching
career to strive for a cause she firmly believed in. Armed with
her conviction she conceived the idea of OASIS which would allow
her to champion the cause of the Environment.
Mr. ShyamSunder Jaisingh: A successful self-made businessman,
Mr. ShyamSunder Jaisingh had to grow up and mature early in life
and miss out on playfulness. He thus believed that children must
be provided with a platform and environment of joyful learning.
This universal parent to all children - is the founder trustee
of OASIS.
Mr. Narendra Kedia: A financial wizard with a legal background,
who believes that Children are innocent, energetic, non-prejudiced,
non-hypocritical beings very close to God. Unfortunately with
age, children start losing all these divine virtues & their
unique identity. Mumbai can become more habitable only when the
young torch bearers of the city are nurtured in a manner as to
bring out their inherent divine virtues.
Swami Prem Arun: With Nirvana as his aim and honesty as his
path, this visionary possesses intense solidarity in both thought
and action. The message that he wishes to impart to the youth
is - “Awaken yourself - In all your actions and deeds”.
